Witness appeal after man punched a woman and a teenage girl in Gloucester

Officers are appealing for information after a man assaulted two people in Gloucester on Saturday morning (17 December).

The incident happened around 4.45am near to A Star Taxi’s on Eastgate Street.

A man punched one of the victims, a woman aged in her 20s, in the face and she fell to the floor. This resulted in a cut to her head and she lost consciousness.

The other victim, a teenage girl, was also punched and members of the public assisted at the scene.

Officers attended and the victims were taken to hospital to be checked over.

The man, who was described as being in his early 20s, ran off down Wellington Street, towards Gloucester Park. He was wearing a black hooded top, trainers, jeans and a balaclava.
