Cirencester Radio: New Studio

We are delighted to announce that our new studio is now open for business inside The Kings Head Hotel, Cirencester.

We have broadcast from many different locations around the town since the launch in 2006 of our local radio station – but now – here we are, settling into our new home right in the buzziest of places, in the heart of our fantastic Market Place!

Our thanks are due to the management team at The King’s Head who have worked so hard to help us feel at home so quickly and we look forward to enjoying many cups of coffee with our guests in their very welcoming bar area.

Due to our fabulous team of technical volunteers, Cirencester Radio never missed a beat of broadcasting during our move to The King’s Head! So, imagine our reaction on hearing that Cirencester Radio has been nominated for a 2023 Digital Leaders 100 Impact Award in the Social Transformation category – it is truly fantastic to be recognised as an organisation leveraging technology to make a positive social impact on society.

So, why don’t you come and join us? Training is offered whether you want to focus on Presenting or Producing shows. It’s a great way to meet new people and learn new skills.

We also want to publicly pay tribute to the Bingham Library Trustees who, alongside Cirencester Town Council, have supported the radio station whilst broadcasting from Bingham House over the past ten years.
