Treasure Island Takes the Stage at The Barn Theatre in a Swashbuckling Winter Adventure

Shiver me timbers, splice the main brace, and set sail for The Barn Theatre this winter. Alan Pollack’s adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island is glorious.

Pirates and Non-Pirates sing, dance and play their way through this tale of adventure, friendship and of course – treasure hunting. The simple yet clever set evokes a Tavern, the good ship Hispaniola and of course, Treasure Island. The songs come thick and fast and there are many, many laugh-out-loud moments.

All the cast are so versatile and the energy levels do not skip a beat, from the opening number to the rousing finale and the twelve songs and shanties in between.

This is such a fun and happy way to bring in the season so ‘Avast me hearties…..which kind of means….listen hear my friends’, get down to the Barn Theatre, pay your pieces of eight or it’ll be the plank for you me hearty!
